I love my little Maltese dog named Emi. She has been a great companion over the past five years, and I can’t imagine life without her. Especially during my recent leave of absence from work, it’s been great to have her home with me during the daytime. I call her “my little white shadow” because she follows me everywhere.

Of course, over the summers when we travel to the U.S., Emi has to stay in Taiwan. This summer she’s staying with a very nice family with two kids in upper elementary/middle school.
