2014: A Year in Books

At the start of 2014, my goal was to read 25 books. I ended up with more reading time on my hands than expected, and I was able to finish 43 books! That’s pretty good for a slow reader like myself. Additionally, my goal was to read all different genres of books, including some non-fiction and biographies since I tend to gravitate naturally toward fiction. I met my goal by reading a wide variety of books including biographies, science fiction novels, mystery, adolescent fiction, classic works, fantasy, historical non-fiction and fiction, literary criticism, and Christian devotional works. I even reread a few favorites like The Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter series. It was a great year of reading, and I’m hoping for another in 2015!
